How many security personnel do you normally provide at parties?
Usually we provide two or three, but it depends on the number of entry and exit points for the party. You could have two ways people can enter the party, like your front door and through the garage, so we would put a guard at each entry point and then one as a patroller through the party areas and the street and surrounding areas.
What hours will you be available for?
We will be available whenever you choose to hold your party and for as long as your party goes. We can stay to see everyone off the premises and on their way home safely if you choose. We work 24/7 and our fees are no different if we're working at 8am or midnight. So you don't have to worry about penalty rates or surcharges.
How much will security for a party cost?
OK, it all depends on how long you want us there and how many guards but work on $55 an hour per guard. Remember we do extra stuff that we don't charge you for. We visit you and do an assessment of the party venue. We supply wrist bands so that it's easy to identify legitimate party goers. Many people often ask their guests to pay a minimal cover charge to guarantee the security. This has worked wonderfully well in the past as guests would rather pay a small charge than be subject to the horrors of the violence that has potential to happen.
What happens when someone gets agro or really drunk?
These are the people who can ruin the party for you and all your guests. Because we have a guard patrolling all the party areas, we are swift to spot trouble makers and remove them quietly and efficiently from the crowd. You must remember that Gatecrash's directors, Antony and Mark, have over 30 years of this type of experience during their time with the Queensland Police Service. In most instances, they are able to remove the guest without any physical contact occurring, not even having to pull on an arm to get the guest to walk. Incredible!
Is your company licenced?
Yes. Our Security Firm License Number is 314836. Businesses can check if a security firm, security officer or crowd controller is licensed by phoning the Office of Fair Trading on 1300 658 030 (for the cost of a local call).
Do you have Public Liaibility Insurance?
Yes. If you wish to see a copy, just let us know. We will be happy to provide the details when we do the assessment of your venue.
Is there any Education Package I can access to make my party safer?
At the moment we are in the process of establishing a practical education package, and we are getting input from a variety of experts. Hopefully, this formal package will be available shortly. Until then, you are free to ask us any questions you have and get the advantage of our experiences!
