Canterbury Bulldogs Security
Thank-you to the Bulldogs NRL team for using Gatecrash staff (as sub-contractors to our southern affiliate Once Blue Security), to guide and protect the team members after their match against the North Queensland Cowboys at Suncorp Stadium (Lang Park to us traditional folk) . The Bulldogs are acutely aware of the need to maintain player integrity, and employ our professional staff to assist their players keep these high standards, whilst providing protection against frivolous or vexatious complaints. We are proud to be associated with the Canterbury Bulldogs and are available to assist other teams visiting Queensland.

A vicious Bouncer Attack
The near-fatal bashing of a young Sydney surf star on the Gold Coast has prompted calls for action against over-aggressive nightclub bouncers on "power trips".
Manly local Sam Page awoke from an induced coma yesterday and showed promising signs of recovery following a brutal attack outside Players strip club on Sunday night.

Unfortunately, society have become used to the fact that bouncers are often steroid junkies who are heavy-handed and violent. Gatecrash has a different approach. Our staff are hand-picked professionals who treat people with RESPECT (even the drunk obnoxious ones!). We would rather talk our way OUT of a fight, than IN to one. A few other like-minded security companies are around, but unfortunately we are the minority. We use extensive training and strongly enforce a "hands-off" policy with our staff. It's a shame others don't do it too...

Assault charges for kicking out a gatecrasher!!??
Just imagine being charged with assault for evicting a gatecrasher from your premises.
South Australian parents who use force to kick out gatecrashers from their children's parties will not be charged with assault under planned changes to the law.
It also includes fines of up to $2,500 or six months' jail for trespassers who refuse to leave a party.
State Attorney-General Michael Atkinson says current trespass laws need updating to deal with gatecrashing.
"We want to make sure that no parent in this state who ejects a gatecrasher is going to be charged with assault," he said.
"It'll be the same test as the self-defence law that we've already brought in and that is that householders can use such force as they genuinely believe is necessary."
