200 gatecrashers in Brisbane Party

TWELVE young men have been charged after 200 people gatecrashed a party in Brisbane and a boy was injured.
The boy is in hospital with head injuries after the estimated 200 gatecrashers invaded the party in Brisbane's north, police said.
The injured boy was hit in the face and knocked unconscious outside the party address at Arana Hills last night, police said.
Twelve youths were charged with public nuisance or obstructing police after officers arrived at the scene about 11pm (AEST) yesterday.
A man is also assisting police with enquires into the assault.
The wounded boy was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital where he is believed to be in a stable condition with a broken nose and head injuries.
Four of the 12 youths arrested were detained at the Brisbane Watchhouse, six were issued with notices to appear before court and two were referred to the Child Protection and Investigation Unit.
